AccuFile™ was designed to make length determination and control more efficient and reliable in root canal treatments. As a person who does root canal treatment on a daily basis, I always looked for ways to improve my efficiency and accuracy in my work and as a result be a happier practitioner and work in a more relaxed setting with the right instruments.

The most basic endodontic instrument is the hand file, which despite being a great tool, lacks the features that would enable it to be more than just a hand file. In the world of endodontics, precision is the platform that all instruments are designed on.  Problems such as lack of enough length when needed the most, or when the file is buried into the crown up to the handle with no room to attach the EAL,  exist in our daily practice. In fact, it happens all the time!  Problems such as these and other shortcomings were the seeds that lead to a new design of the file which overcame all these problems and more
